About the Author: Gillian Flynn is an American author and a former television critic for the magazine Entertainment Weekly. Gillian was born on 1971 and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from University of Kansas and then went on to do Master’s degree at Northwestern University. She has published two other novels, namely Sharp Objects (2006) and Dark Places (2009).
